Το μοτίβο "Barking Dog" του Keith Haring -με πολύχρωμα σκυλιά με το στόμα τους ανοιχτό στη μέση- είναι ένα από τα πιο αναγνωρίσιμα σύμβολα του καλλιτέχνη του δρόμου και παραμένει μια απόδειξη της αφοσίωσής του στην προσιτή τέχνη.
Το απλό, καρτουνίστικο σχήμα του σκύλου παραπέμπει στο ενδιαφέρον του Χάρινγκ για τα αιγυπτιακά ιερογλυφικά - ένα παράδειγμα του πώς οι άνθρωποι επικοινωνούν τις εμπειρίες τους μέσω καθολικών σχημάτων και σημείων.
Τα "Barking Dogs" του Haring βρίσκονται σε όλο το έργο του, από τις πρώτες ετικέτες του μετρό μέχρι τα εμπορεύματα που πωλούνται στα καταστήματα PoP του καλλιτέχνη. Το 1990, λίγους μήνες πριν από τον πρόωρο θάνατό του, ο Haring επέλεξε να απαθανατίσει το μοτίβο του "Barking Dog" μαζί με τέσσερα από τα πιο διάσημα σύμβολά του σε μια σειρά λιθογραφιών με τίτλο "icons", εδραιώνοντας το γραφικό σκυλί ως ένα από τα πιο σημαντικά σύμβολα στο έργο του.

Wash with mild soap or dishwashing detergent dissolved in lukewarm water, avoiding contact with metal components. Use a clean, soft cloth with a generous amount of solution. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a damp cloth or chamois.
Never use wire or sponge, glass cleaner, thinner, gasoline, alcohol or acetone. Their use will alter the color and your jewelry will lose its shine.
METAL COMPONENTS:
Avoid contact of jewelry with brass metal components with salt water, pool water, perfumes and creams.
Jewelry with stainless steel metal components is safe for all contact with liquids, perfumes, and creams.
